The 11-2 New Orleans Saints travel to Carolina Monday night for a prime-time match-up between the 2 NFC South Rivals. Carolina has lost their last 5 and now see themselves on the outside looking in on the NFC Playoff Picture. They must win tonight to keep within contention and keep their hopes alive. It will not be easy however going up against the top seed in the NFC. Drew Brees and Company have maintained the Number 1 seed however they have shown signs of a struggle in their last 2 match-ups. Two weeks ago, New Orleans found themselves stunned as their offense struggled to muster much of anything against a talented Dallas defense. While last week they trailed most of the game in Tampa Bay. New Orleans did show fight in the 2nd half last week coming back to win after trailing by 10 at the half. New Orleans will have to find the formula to get that offense back on track against a struggling Carolina squad. The Saints defensively will look to turn over Cam Newton who has continually shown his lack of accuracy. There is one thing however that Carolina has that you can’t always compare with numbers. That is desperation, Carolina is in desperation must-win mode if they want to be playing in the Postseason. Will we see Cam and the Panthers get back on track? Or will Brees and the Saints solidify home field throughout the playoffs and capture that number 1 seed?
